Joseph Krug founded the House of Krug in 1843 with the ambition to create an exceptional expression of Champagne each year, no matter the climate.
He paid attention to every vineyard's unique character and carefully crafted a library of reserve wines. This resulted in Krug Grande Cuvée, an ongoing celebration of his vision. Six generations of the Krug family continued his tradition.
Made to their time-honoured, uncompromising standards, an amazing Champagne: very rich, with notes of pastry dough, toast, nuts, white fleshy fruit such as peach, pears and apple. Honeyed finish with more than a hint of lemon tart, incredible length and complexity.
