Producer: Le Carillon D'Angelus is the second wine of the prestigious Château Angelus, one of the most renowned estates in the Saint-Émilion appellation. Known for its meticulous vineyard management and exceptional winemaking techniques, Angelus produces wines that combine elegance with power. The production of Le Carillon reflects the same philosophy, offering a more accessible yet highly refined expression of the estate’s terroir.

The 2012 Vintage in Bordeaux was marked by a cool spring, followed by a warm and dry summer that allowed for a steady ripening of the grapes. This vintage benefited from ideal conditions in September, which allowed the Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes to reach optimal maturity. The result is a wine with balanced acidity, ripe fruit flavours, and excellent ageing potential.
